Schools and Teachers


Hall Hill Farm was the first farm in the North East to have been inspected as suitable and safe for school visits, by the Countryside Educational Visits Accreditation Scheme.  This year the farm received  the Learning Outside the Classroom Award.

  • Accreditation Scheme (CEVAS).
  • We welcome School Visits, and have three barn classrooms for picnic lunches.
  • One Guide per class.
  • Teacher's Packs updated for the National Curriculum, including risk assessment.
  • Picnic and play area, including an adventure playground and noah's ark
  • FREE farm trailer ride and animal feed.

7th -13th May is National Donkey week and to recognise the contribution made by our donkeys we will be giving half price donkey rides all week.

Sheep Shearing

25 May 2013 - 27 May 2013

See the sheep shearer at work giving a series of Sheep Shearing demonstrations over the Bank Holiday weekend, Saturday 25th , Sunday 26th & Monday 27th May 2013.  Demonstrations start from 12 noon.  All the other usual activities are available including tractor and trailer rides and bottle feeding.
